Begin your Caribbean adventure in Antigua, known for its turquoise waters and powder-white beaches—one for every day of the year, or so the locals say. Explore the historic Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage site and former British naval base, now a charming marina and sailing hub. Embark from Falmouth Harbour, typically at anchor.
Sail approximately 30 nautical miles across open water to Barbuda, Antigua’s tranquil sister island. Discover the remote Frigate Bird Sanctuary, home to one of the world’s largest colonies of these striking seabirds. Stroll along Palm Beach, famous for its endless stretch of soft, pink-tinged sand.
Next, head north to the glamorous St. Barths, known as the “St. Tropez of the Caribbean.” Wander the Swedish-influenced port town of Gustavia, where red-roofed wooden houses meet upscale boutiques and a lively yachting scene. The highlight of the week is the St. Barths Bucket Regatta (March 12–15), where up to 40 superyachts compete in a thrilling mix of fun and fierce rivalry. Your vessel, RHEA, will join as a spectator boat for as much of the regatta as possible.
The journey wraps up back in Antigua on March 17, with a possible early departure from St. Barths on March 15 to ensure a smooth return.
Please Note. This itinerary is meant to serve as an example of what a week-long sailing journey aboard Rhea may entail. However, it is important to note that the captain may adjust the schedule to ensure optimal sailing conditions and the best possible experience for guests.
