Come sail with us to where our Mediterranean story began. Discover why Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast— with its crystal-clear waters, hidden coves, and timeless stone towns—remains one of the world’s most captivating sailing destinations. We’ve been running this beloved itinerary since 2009 and still aren’t tired of it, exploring favorites like Hvar, Vis, and the UNESCO-listed beauty of Trogir. If you’re looking for relaxed island-hopping, authentic Dalmatian cuisine, and a welcoming community of sailors, this flotilla is your perfect invitation to fall in love with sailing the Med.
The Central Dalmatian Islands Flotilla is a 7-day island hopping sailing adventure through the heart of Croatia’s breathtaking Adriatic coastline, where turquoise waters, medieval towns, and picturesque island harbors create the perfect cruising ground. Beginning in the UNESCO-listed town of Trogir, this carefully prepared itinerary—one we’ve proudly sailed since 2009—explores some of Dalmatia’s most iconic destinations, including Vis and Hvar. Croatia is where our Mediterranean journey began, and this route continues to capture our hearts year after year.
Participants sail aboard a mix of well-equipped catamarans and monohulls, allowing crews to choose the sailing style that suits them best. Catamarans offer spacious living areas and stability, while monohulls provide a more traditional sailing feel. Each couple or single guest enjoys a private cabin, creating a comfortable balance of community and personal space throughout the week.
Included in the flotilla is seven nights aboard your yacht, full flotilla leadership and coordination, route planning, daily briefings, and organized group activities ashore. Basic onboard provisions for breakfasts and light lunches, docking fees, mooring fees, and end-of-charter refueling costs are shared equally among participants on each individual boat, making expenses transparent and straightforward.
Not included are airfare and transportation to/from Croatia, travel insurance, dinners ashore, excursions, and personal expenses. This structure gives guests the flexibility to explore Dalmatia’s exceptional restaurants and experiences while enjoying the camaraderie, support, and seamless organization of a professionally led flotilla.

Vere Stuij, from the Netherlands, brings extensive experience as both a flotilla leader and skipper, having sailed the Dalmatian Coast numerous times. Known for her leadership, warmth, and infectious enthusiasm, she creates a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for every crew. 2026 marks her third season with Jean & Mila (sailing with us since 2024), and she continues to be a valued part of our team, blending regional expertise with a passion for creating exceptional sailing experiences.

Belen Castro, our American Sailing instructor from Spain, is fluent in English, Greek, and several other languages. Renowned for her exceptional teaching style, Belen is highly praised by past students for her thoroughness, patience, and deep expertise in sailing. Her passion for the sailing, combined with her ability to connect with students from all backgrounds, makes her the perfect guide for your sailing adventure.
Begin your day with a visit to the enchanting town of Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning medieval architecture and rich history. After soaking in the sights, we’ll take time for provisioning to prepare for our adventure. In the afternoon, we check in at Marina Baotić, where our yachts await. Around 17:00, we set sail for the beautiful island of Šolta, aiming to anchor or moor in the picturesque bay of Uvala Šešula on the island’s north side. In the evening, enjoy dinner either aboard your yacht or at one of the charming seaside restaurants on shore.
Set sail to the captivating island of Vis, famously featured as the Greek island in Mamma Mia II. On arrival, we’ll anchor at the secluded Rogačić Bay for a refreshing swim and an intriguing exploration of the abandoned Cold War military installations. Afterward, we’ll head to Vis Harbor, where the evening promises a traditional Dalmatian dinner at Konoba Magica, a charming vineyard nestled in the mountains, offering an authentic taste of island life surrounded by stunning views.
Set sail to the charming village of Komiža, located on the western side of Vis Island. This picturesque Dalmatian fishing village is a beloved stop for sailors, with its quaint streets and scenic beauty. Along the way, we’ll pause for refreshing swims in the crystal-clear waters. Upon arriving, we’ll secure a mooring ball and head ashore for a relaxed evening. Tonight, we indulge in a fun tradition—pizza, beer, and gelato— enjoyed at one of Komiža’s cozy local spots, the perfect way to unwind after a day on the water.
We will sail along the south coast of Vis Island en route to the island of Hvar, taking time to stop for a swim in one of the island’s hidden gems like Uvala Stiniva or Uvala Travna, known for their serene beauty and crystal-clear waters. Our destination is Marina Palmižana on St. Klement Island, located just across from Hvar. Once moored, we’ll take a water taxi to explore the vibrant city of Hvar, where you can wander through its historic streets and enjoy dinner at one of the many delightful restaurants ashore.
On the northern side of Hvar Island lies the picturesque port of Vrboska, a charming little haven often described as the “Little Venice” of Croatia. This quaint town offers a peaceful atmosphere, excellent restaurants, and some of the best gelato you’ll find along the Dalmatian coast. We’ll make several stops along the way for swimming, and a relaxing lunch amidst the beautiful surroundings. Once we arrive, we’ll dock at either the ACI Marina or the municipal marina, depending on availability. The evening promises a delightful dinner ashore, where you can immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of this village, which feels as though it’s been frozen in time.
We cross the Hvarski Kanal to the island of Brac and will sail by the beach of Zlatni Rat, the most photographed beach of Croatia. After a lunch on board and some swimming near Zlatni Rat, we sail to the small fishing port of Milna where we will spend the night.
We return to the base, with some more swimming and good sailing along the way and arrive around 16:00 at the Baotić Marina where we will refuel before returning to our slips. You can stay on board on Friday night but, if you do, you will have to disembark by 8:30 on Saturday morning. Marina Baotić is a modern marina with excellent facilities, a pool and bar and restaurants.
Disembark by 9:00 am
