From the golden light of Palermo to the fire-lit silhouette of Stromboli, this sailing journey through the Aeolian Islands is equal parts elemental and elegant.
We depart Palermo’s historic harbor and head north into the Tyrrhenian Sea, where volcanic peaks rise dramatically from cobalt waters. First landfall: Vulcano—an island shaped by steam and sulfur, where black-sand beaches meet mineral-rich shallows and fumaroles curl into the sky.
Next comes Lipari, the lively heart of the archipelago. Here, pastel houses frame cobbled lanes, cafés spill onto sun-warmed piazzas, and crystalline coves invite an afternoon swim straight from the yacht.
And then, the crescendo: Stromboli. As dusk settles, the volcano begins its quiet performance. From the deck, beneath a canopy of stars, you’ll witness the legendary Sciara del Fuoco—the “Stream of Fire”—a molten cascade visible from the sea. It is raw, humbling, and unforgettable.
After days shaped by wind, sea, and island discovery, we sail back to Palermo—sun-kissed, salt-haired, and fully immersed in the rhythm of Mediterranean life.
This is not simply a cruise—it is a passage through nature’s theatre, curated by wind and sea.
This journey is perfect for travelers seeking a refined sense of adventure, couples and friends who value meaningful, immersive experiences, sailing enthusiasts drawn to iconic Mediterranean routes, and explorers captivated by nature’s raw, untamed beauty.
Days unfold at an unhurried Mediterranean pace. Mornings begin with espresso and sea air. Afternoons are for swimming, paddleboarding, or simply lounging on deck with a book and a chilled glass of Sicilian wine. Evenings bring golden-hour sails, shared meals, and conversations that stretch long into the night.
Whether you’re an experienced sailor or new to life under canvas, this journey welcomes you into the timeless rhythm of sailing Italy’s most storied waters.
