While completing your courses around the beautiful British Virgin Islands, you’ll also enjoy a true vacation in the sun: exploring onshore bars and restaurants, snorkeling vibrant coral reefs, and discovering pristine white-sand beaches – all in a supportive, fun, women-only environment. Our itineraries are built around the BVI’s main islands, Tortola, Norman Island, Peter Island, Cooper Island, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke, and their surrounding gems. This course starts at 5pm on Saturday and finishes at midday the following Saturday.

This women-only monohull learn-to-sail vacation week with Horizon Sailing School is designed to help you gain the skills and certifications needed to confidently bareboat a monohull. During the week, you may earn a selection of the following certifications:
¤ ASA 101 | KEELBOAT SAILING 1
¤ ASA 103 | COASTAL CRUISING
¤ ASA 104 | BAREBOAT CRUISING
This course is open to all levels of experience, with no prior sailing knowledge required. A maximum of 6 learning students will be onboard to ensure a relaxed and personalised learning experience.
Depart Nanny Cay Marina and sail past The Indians before anchoring at Norman Island.
Explore The Bight and The Caves at Norman Island, then continue on to Cooper Island.
Sail from Cooper Island to The Baths on Virgin Gorda, ending the day at Marina Cay.
Cruise past The Dogs and continue to North Sound, Virgin Gorda.
Sail from North Sound to Guana Island, then continue on to Jost Van Dyke.
Depart Jost Van Dyke, stopping at Sandy Cay, before anchoring at Cane Garden Bay.
Sail from Cane Garden Bay to Soper’s Hole, then continue to Peter Island.
Return to Nanny Cay Marina.
