Join us in the spring of 2025 for an exciting opportunity to sail a Fast Ultra light POGO 40. We will be navigating the stunning Cyclades island group for a week in March. This experience will allow you to sail at impressive speeds of 20+ knots under the guidance of two instructors on a French-designed ultra light sailboat.
If you already hold your ASA104 Skipper’s license and wish to qualify for your ASA 105+106, this is a fantastic way to advance to your next ASA level. Additionally, it’s a great chance to log more miles for your sailing logbook. Join us for an unforgettable sailing adventure!
The Cyclades islands are some of the most renowned islands in Greece, situated in the Aegean Sea. We will set sail from our base in Lavrion, a port near Cape Sounion, which is home to the Ancient Temple of Poseidon. The Cyclades are famous for their strong winds and diverse landscapes. To the south of Lavrion lies Kythnos Island, followed by Serifos, Paros, Naxos, and further south, Santorini. A week of sailing on a yacht offers the perfect opportunity to explore these stunning islands.

**Arrival and Set Sail**
Meet at the marina and provision with your instructor as part of the bareboat instruction. Departure is scheduled for around 17:00 for our first night on Kithonos Island.
After breakfast, we will set sail for Siros Island, directing our course to the charming village of Finakas.
Next, we head south from Finakas, sailing around the southern part of the island before continuing south to Naxos port (approximately 50 nautical miles).
We have an early departure today as Milos is located about 70 nautical miles to the west. This island is known as Homer’s home and final resting place.
An overnight sail will take us to Poros Island, located approximately 70 nautical miles west of Milos.
Take some time to relax and explore Poros Island.
We will depart early to return to Lavrion, a journey of about 40 nautical miles.
